Sri. G. Kuppuswamy Naidu

(1884 – 1942)

Our Legacy

A visionary whose values continue to shape lives.

Sri. G. Kuppuswamy Naidu was one of India’s earliest entrepreneurs, who established The Lakshmi Mills Company — a landmark textile manufacturer — in 1910 in Coimbatore. A man of far-reaching vision, he firmly believed that true progress extended beyond industry. His deep commitment to education and community welfare laid the foundation of a legacy that continues to shape lives across generations.

The institutions built in his name stand as a living tribute to his values of integrity, service, and foresight — nurturing young minds and creating opportunities, exactly as he envisioned.
